Your Guide to AdventureIn Haida Gwaii, you'll discover untouched wilderness and rich culture, much of it within walking distance of your QCI Vacation Home.
From the home you can stroll the marina, discover the traditional art of Old Masset Village, and explore the wildlife sanctuary at your back door. We'll help you extend your explorations, by arranging guided tours to the region's national parks, arranging for wildlife and sealife viewing, or taking you to the island's dramatic beaches. Available tours from Northwest Recreation include: The Tow Hill & North Beach tour explores Naikoon Provincial Park, Agate Beach, the Tow Hill dormant volcano and North Beach.
The Greater Massett tour includes the Delkatla Wildlife Sanctuary, the historic Masset Cemetary, the Dixon Entrance Maritime Museum, and an opportunity to meet with Haida artisans in Old Massett.
Tours are approximately six hours, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and include all transportation and admissions, a knowledgeable guide, and late afternoon refreshments. Click here for more details on each tour and let us know if you want us to arrange any of the tours for you during your stay.
